  11.     My friends, James and Bill, repair, upgrade and assemble older
  12. computers, which are then given free of charge, to financially
  13. challenged and/or handicapped students of all ages.  The
  14. computers and components are donated mainly by local businesses
  15. and colleges. 
  16.     Recently James acquired an internal Practical Peripherals PM9600
  17. modem.  There is no manual on this modem.  Just the bare modem in
  18. a box.  James wants to know if any of you can give him
  19. information on this modem, or explain the two dip switches, and
  20. how they should be set for the IRQ/Comm ports?   Does it require
  21. software to set the parameters?  What would be the init string
  22. for this modem?   Any information at all on this modem will be
  23. welcome.  Please write by E-mail, because my Newsgoup does not
  24. pick up all responses to querys!   I will appreciate any
  25. response!
